Pimlico is Cubitt's grid of stucco terraces, and nearly every kerb in it belongs to a resident permit. Visitor bays are short-stay and closely watched. The few garages tucked behind the terraces rarely reach the open market, which is what makes a listed private space here worth noticing.

Pimlico has its own stop on the Victoria line, one short of the mainline at Victoria, which makes it a quiet base for commuters with a car to house. Tate Britain and Chelsea College of Arts sit on Millbank at the area's eastern edge, and both keep staff on regular hours.
