TOP TIP if you book your taxi to drop at Birmingham international train station you can catch the monorail directly to the inside of the airport. They run every 3 minutes and you are on the monorail for a minute or 2. This reduces the taxi price from about £15 to 7 or 8 pounds. Please note the monorail stops running at 3am and reopens at 8am .
