It is best to drive in and out at an angle. As you can see in the second photo, we have removed the small stand-alone wall section that was on the entrance to the driveway and there is a bike shed. There is more than enough space for a 5-door car on the driveway, as the bike shed opens upwards. We've got a video doorbell, which will record whenever someone enters the driveway, ensuring increased security.
